This course is led by Karen Watkins who provides the technical support at Mineral Check Ltd, talking daily with practitioners about test results and how to apply results in clinic. This course has been developed out of those many thousands of discussions and has been guided and influenced by the questions asked in those support calls. 

Leaning Outcomes:

  • Metabolic Typing
  • Understanding the ratios of elements on an HTMA
  • The first six elements: exploring calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, copper and zinc
  • Falling down some rabbit holes, or, what you should have learnt about minerals in college but probably didn’t!
  • Toxic Elements
  • Iodine
  • Two Cs and a D
  • Retesting

Perhaps the most exciting part of the course encourages practitioners to apply this theoretical knowledge to clinical cases from their own clinic. A live learning zone will recognise that every practitioner brings unique skills to their practice, and each will share one case history with the group from their own clinic and discuss a protocol. Everyone will share information to build confidence in using test results. 

All lectures are taught live and are one hour, except modules 5, 8 and 10 which are 1 hour 15 mins.  Module 2 is taught live but there is an additional one hour prerecorded lecture by Dr David Watts on metabolic typing.  This is a really rare opportunity to hear Dr Watts who is recognised as one of the leading research scientists in the field of HTMA.
